Total Landscape is a small but effective company of no more than 3-5 employees at any given time of year. Our basic goal is to deliver the high quality and service you deserve without the hassles of big company problems which means to say “We’re big enough to get the job done, but small enough to care!” With over 29+ years “in-the-field” experience, we’re capable of delivering that perfect yard, outdoor kitchen, or personal paradise that you want without the big ticket price.

It all started just over 29 years ago when Terry Martin, owner and operator of Total Landscape & Irrigation, LLC (TLI), began working in landscaping to pay his way through college at LSU. It began with basic sod installation, went to landscaping maintenance, and finished with full landscape installations including irrigation, lighting, drainage, and so on. After the first five years and a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and a minor in Psychology, Terry then attended LSU Medical College for three(3) years all the while working almost full time in the landscaping / irrigation field to meet his pecuniary needs required to stay in school.

Well, things didn’t quite pan out the way he expected and instead of just giving up his business and trying to find another medical vocation, Mr. Martin fell back into what he knew he loved and excelled at,… Landscaping. So, in 1993’, Mr. Martin concentrated his efforts on running and trying to expand his business. In 2000’, Terry joined his brother and former marine Tim Martin (Pro "T" Landscaping) to help run his brother's business for the next 8+ years as the head supervisor all the while maintaining and running his own business venture quietly on the side. After severe property and business losses from hurricane Katrina and the recession, Terry left Pro "T" in January of 09’ and reignited his own business interests in Total Landscape & Irrigation, LLC.

Today, TLI is located on the Northshore of Lake Pontchartrain in Mandeville, La. and is a full service landscaping company offering everything from design, to installation, to maintenance.
